For the architectural project of the Espaço Integrado de Apoio for victims of domestic violence in Seixal, we aimed for more than cement, glass and wood. We intended it to be a warm embrace for those looking for security and renewal. The statistics are alarming: on a daily basis, countless victims face this reality without a support network. Seixal, like many other cities, is not immune to this situation. 

The designed environments offer physical safety but also emotional support. They are places where victims can breathe without fear, where their stories are heard, validated, and defended. Every detail has been designed with care: the colors, the materials, the lighting, the furniture. These spaces are part of a larger support network, connecting to legal, psychological and social services, being seen as a first channel for complaints.
