Located in Foz do Douro, this apartment has undergone a refurbishment of the original layout. This introduced a new living dynamic that privileges the social areas and the connection with the outside while providing containment in the private areas of the house.
From the main entrance, the design of the space leads the gaze to the living area and the garden, promoting visual amplitude. In this sense, a slatted Riga wood structure surrounds and encloses the dining room. The area is also shaped through the use of marble flooring and a ceiling with plaster work.
Access to the intimate area is through a narrow corridor, which creates a visual contrast with the area previously described. The Riga wooden flooring, obtained from an old factory, is present throughout the apartment, except in the entrance areas, dining room and corridor of the bedrooms, where we used marble.
Outside, there is a swimming pool and a small seating area, which extends to a garden with fruit trees and aromatic plants.
