In 2003 we were invited to create a new image for the shop Lingerie Bettina within an area with 25m². It was space with many storage problems by which the project was designed to resolve this situation and to create a strong trade image. In 2010, with the opportunity to change the shop location and for commercial reasons, the image was redesign in the new area, now with 50 m².
To resolve the limitations of space, too narrow and lengthy, and with visible structural elements, we used a wave plan loose from the existing walls and ceiling to lose the sensation of tunnel that space offered. Continuous illumination was used to emphasize the momentum created by the new plan. The openings created in this plan will be illuminated and will contain the furniture.
The program proved to be excessive for the area in question (showcase, two cloakrooms, storage and toilet). In particular the use and optimization of the existing furniture. Placement of this was done in order to provide a personalized service to customers. Near the counter there is a small waiting area, where it’s possible to drink a coffee.
