The brief for this project was to redesign the layout for Tecnipor, a Fiberglass Reinforced Cement company with 40 years of expansion. As the company grew, it needed a fresh approach to its existing office space to accommodate a larger team of engineers and provide more comfort for its employees.

The main challenge was to create an engaging and functional workspace within the constraints of the old building, which was not originally prepared to receive so many office workers. In addition to office spaces, there was a need to address other areas such as bathrooms, meeting rooms, and coffee areas.

Working with the layout of the existing building, we created an open-plan office, divided by glass walls that enable better visual communication without sacrificing privacy between spaces. This layout also incorporated a cafeteria area within the office space.

Our overall goal was to create a welcoming environment, far from the traditional corporate aesthetic, while still maintaining the essence of a functional work environment. For this purpose, we selected flowery wallpaper, soft pastel tones, rugs, and plants, which contribute to a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
